Teenagers at a Pennsylvanian school were taken to a local hospital after being victims of a frenzied knife attack.
It was not clear if all the victims were students but the Post-Gazette, again citing county officials, reported the suspect was a male student at the high school.
The school district posted an emergency message on its website on Wednesday.
Emergency responders have been sent to a high school in western Pennsylvania after multiple students were reported stabbed. A suspect is reported to be in custody.
According to Westmoreland County officials, reported by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, up to 20 people were stabbed at Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville, Penn., about 15 miles east of Pittsburgh. Their conditions were not immediately known.

“A critical incident has occurred at the high school,” the message said. “All elementary schools are canceled, the middle school and high school students are secure.”
